Shawn Alves is a member of the firm who lives in Daphne, Alabama and practices in the Daphne and Bay Minette offices. In 1994, Mr. Alves graduated from the University of the South, with honors.  He joined the firm in 1999, after receiving his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During Law School, Mr. Alves was a member of the Alabama Law Review, the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, and the John A. Campbell Moot Court. He was honored as a Hugo Black Scholar and is currently a member of the Order of the Coif.

His practice emphasizes business, construction and real estate litigation in State and Federal Courts, while also practicing in the areas of municipal law, probate, wills, estates and real property.

Mr. Alves is a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association and the Alabama Bar Association.  He is a member of the board of directors for several non-profit corporations including the Boys and Girls Club of South Alabama, the Daphne/Spanish Fort Rotary, the American Red Cross, and the Alabama Free Clinic, which provides free medical services to the working uninsured in Baldwin County.
